What facilities are there for guests unable to tolerate queues due to a disability?

The Disability Access Service Card allows a guest with a disability as well as some companions to schedule a return time at a specific attraction that would be comparable with the wait time if they had to queue.


What facilities are there for guests with disabilities in the theme parks?

Walt Disney World Resort in Florida has a number of different facilities for guests with visual impairment, hearing impairment and mobility issues. Some examples are below:

What facilities are there for guests with disabilities in the resort hotels?

Walt Disney World Resort in Florida has a number of different facilities for guests with visual impairment, hearing impairment and mobility issues. Some examples are below:

Wheelchair-accessible bathrooms, wheelchair-accessible ramps and elevators, rooms designed for the hearing impaired Guests and rooms that accommodate service animals.


How do I book a room at a resort suitable for my disability?

You will need to request an Accessible Room. If you would like to discuss booking a room for a specific disability please call us on 0330 880 5010.


Can guests with disabilities play on the Walt Disney World Resort Golf course?

Yes. All courses have adaptive golf carts. The club house also features facilities for guests with disabilities.


Can I use my own wheelchair in the theme parks?

Yes. If you would prefer you can also hire a wheelchair in the theme parks.


Where can I rent a wheelchair?

Wheelchairs are available to rent at all of the Disney Parks and Disney Springs area. The two water parks offer free rental at Guest Relations. Valid ID is required in order to complete the rental. They are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.


If I rent a wheelchair can I keep it for the duration of my stay?

If you rent a wheelchair from any of the parks you must return it upon exiting the park and rent another chair at the next park you visit. You can purchase a length of stay rental ticket, however you will still need to return the chair to the collection location.

There is a small number of wheelchairs available for rental at select Resort hotels and these chairs can be kept for the duration of your stay.


Does Walt Disney World Resort's theme park transport system accommodate wheelchairs?

Yes. In order for the parks to plan ahead please advise us if you will be bringing your own wheelchair.


If I bring my own wheelchair can I use Disney's Magical Express airport service?

Yes the coaches can accommodate wheelchairs. Please remember to advise us when booking that you will be bringing your own wheelchair.


Does Disney's Magical Express provide wheelchairs upon arrival at Orlando International airport?

No. However, MagicBreaks can arrange assistance for you with your airline if you have booked a package with us. If you have booked your flights separately you can contact your airline carrier directly who will assist you.
